How to play Dubai Life
Start broke. Own Dubai. Here's everything you need for your first day in the city.
Play now — it's free- 1. Make your character
Pick a name, look, hair and outfit, then choose a career. You can play straight away as a guest — no sign-up needed.
- 2. Get around
Use the joystick or WASD to walk; tap the ground to walk there. Double-tap W to run. Hop on a Zip scooter, take the Metro or a taxi, or drive your own car once you can afford one.
- 3. Find your way
Tap the mini map to open the big map. Search landmarks and places, then pick Walk, Drive or the nearest scooter to head there.
- 4. Work and grow
Go to work for shifts, study and build reputation to get promoted. Follow the Next Goal bubble if you're not sure what to do.
- 5. Rent a home
Rent is paid every Saturday. Start in a shared room and move up to a Marina flat or a Palm villa.
- 6. Meet people
Tap another player's name to see their card. Within 25 m you can Talk privately, and Meet them to travel to each other.
- 7. Share a ride
Ask "Can I jump in?" or offer "Want a ride?" in chat. Once both agree, walk up to the stopped car or scooter to board.
- 8. Save your game
Your progress saves automatically. Save with email from the Phone to keep it on any device.
